Face Fit Testing training.

As people come in all sorts of shapes and sizes it is unlikely that one particular type or size of Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE) facepiece will fit everyone.

Fit testing will ensure that the tight-fitting respirator (mask) is suitable for the wearer and provides a tight seal around their face.

It is a legal requirement that workers using tight fitting respiratory protective equipment (face pieces/masks) must be fit tested by a competent person.

Our face fit process is a means to ensure the suitability of tight-fitting masks. Each face fit takes approximately 20 – 25 minutes.
